Acupuncture & Laser Therapy

Acupuncture

Dr. Kate Pietsch is a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist. She completed her training in 2012 at Colorado Veterinary Medical Association.

Acupuncture techniques are used to treat conditions or symptoms by inserting very fine needles into precise points on your pet’s body in order to produce a response. Acupuncture points can also be stimulated with techniques used in conjunction with Laser Therapy. Acupuncture stimulates healing in some conditions and provides effective pain relief in others. The Acupuncture procedure itself is not uncomfortable for your pet, but does require repeat visits to the practice.

Medical Acupuncture can provide relief to animals for:

  • Post-Surgical pain and discomfort
  • Arthritis
  • Chronic back (disc), pain, and spinal cord injuries
  • Muscle tension
  • Gastrointestinal disorders
  • Nerve disease
  • Urinary incontinence
  • Oncology pain
  • And more…..

If you are interested in Acupuncture for your pet, please call our practice and schedule a consultation with Dr. Kate Pietsch.
